Wine Channel Invites You to Explore the 6th QWine Expo: Unveiling the List of Premium Italian Wineries

The 6th QWine Expo will take place from November 15–17 at the Qingtian Overseas Chinese Imported Goods City. With the theme “Bringing the World Together, Showcasing Beauty,” this grand event will feature five main exhibition areas: the International Wine Pavilion, International Coffee Pavilion, Qingtian Lifestyle Pavilion, High-end Smart and New Energy Vehicle Pavilion, and the Imported Goods Pavilion. The exhibition spans 90,000 square meters, with the main area hosting 600 booths and the market section offering 1,000 booths. It is expected to attract 800 domestic and international wine companies, 200 coffee importers, 100 lifestyle importers, and 500 companies from other categories, with a projected attendance of 180,000 visitors.

For wine lovers, the QWine Expo presents a rare opportunity to savor Italian wines from various regions, each with unique flavors. As a long-standing quality partner of the QWine Expo, Wine Channel has carefully curated a selection of wines from nearly 20 renowned Italian wine regions. Here’s an overview of the featured Italian wine regions and their signature wines:

Signature Wines from Italy’s Key Wine Regions

  • Piedmont: Known as the homeland of Nebbiolo, producing precious Barolo and Barbaresco wines, as well as high-quality Barbera, Dolcetto, and the aromatic white Asti wines.
  • Veneto: Famous for the powerful and complex Amarone della Valpolicella, along with the globally renowned Prosecco and refined white Soave wines.

  • Lombardy: Celebrated for the elegant and complex Franciacorta sparkling wines, as well as Valtellina Superiore and Lugana wines from notable regions.
  • Tuscany: Known for Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, and Bolgheri, as well as classic Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Super Tuscans.
  • Emilia-Romagna: Represented by the iconic sparkling red Lambrusco, along with the white wines Albana and Pignoletto.
  • Friuli-Venezia Giulia: Known for delicate white wines, including Friulano and Ribolla Gialla, and the signature red Refosco.
  • Campania: Famous for the robust Taurasi made from Aglianico grapes, with notable white varieties such as Falanghina and Fiano.
  • Abruzzo: Known as “The Green Heart of Europe” with its Montepulciano d’Abruzzo reds and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo whites.
  • Basilicata: Represented by the complex and structured Aglianico del Vulture red wines.
  • Umbria: With Grechetto as a key white grape, while Sagrantino di Montefalco represents a distinctive red.
  • Puglia: Known for the rich, intense reds Primitivo di Manduria and Negroamaro.
  • Sicily: Famous for the traditional fortified Marsala, along with Grillo and the signature Nero d’Avola.
  • Sardinia: Known for the unique flavors of Cannonau and Vermentino di Gallura.

These regions are celebrated for their unique terroirs and traditional craftsmanship, with each bottle encapsulating its region’s essence and distinct character. Whether you are new to wine or a seasoned expert, you will find exceptional wines at the QWine Expo to suit your taste.

The Italian Pavilion at the QWine Expo is located in Hall A1, spanning 1,550 square meters with 79 booths. We look forward to exploring the captivating world of Italian wines with you.
