-Our booth at the Montalcino Brunello Association, next to me is Carlotta Salvini. Let’s ask her, how is this fair going these days?
-The fair went very well, we had 31 producers with individual booths and 51 companies whose wines could be tasted in our group event area, including 87 wines of various Brunellos. New wines, vintage wines, selected wines, reserve wines and Montalcino (Montalcino) red wines, etc.
This is definitely a very important fair for the German market. The presence of Brunello underpins the overall market, and the Nordic region is also a strategically important hub, where the name is common.
Today is the last day of the fair and I thought we could celebrate a successful fair with a glass of Brunello. We are very pleased with the high number of visitors to the exhibition.
cheers!
-Carlotta, what do we find in this beautiful glass of wine from Montalcino Brunello?
-Sangiovese,Montalcino (Sangiovese di Montalcino), here has the characteristic salty aroma of Sangiovese soil, as well as a unique freshness, and a sense of tenacity and vitality.
However, in the fruit-dominated southern regions, there is a structure that can clearly take on a different consistency, the center is more influenced by a continental climate, so there are notes of saltiness, freshness, freshness and tannins, while in the northern area.
The East and West quadrants have darker fruity tones as well as woody aromas. So these territories are definitely worth exploring, and why not visit them and find out by ourselves?
-Which are your favorite food and wine pairings?
-Food and wine pairing? I am a person who likes to experience different things.
But I never despise pairing with classic croutons bolognese, it’s irresistible.
