But let’s take a step back: what are NFTs, which everyone is talking about? Briefly, it is a “Non-fungible token”, that is a special type of cryptographic object that represents the deed of ownership and the certificate of authenticity written on the Blockchain of a unique asset (digital or physical).
Put simply, each NFT is a personal and non-reproducible “ticket”, and the “name” of its owner is recorded on a computer infrastructure called the Blockchain, which guarantees its ownership.
The product in question will be a prestigious bottle of Rosarubra wine aged on the estate.

The native Abruzzese Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Trebbiano d’Abruzzo and Pecorino, accompanied by the international Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Moscato and Sauvignon, are the labels of this line.
The white label is obtained from the grapes of the individual vineyards specifically intended for this line, while the black label, even more exclusive, represents a further selection of quality. Only the best grapes of the best vintages are chosen to arrive in these precious bottles. A limited production, created to offer a totally new experience to a niche audience interested in exploring new visions.
And Vigne Lomanegra NFT Collection is the most complete expression of a new vision, which aims to combine product excellence with all the security of a digital certification. This is the first line of wines that aspires to break the barriers between the physical and virtual worlds, using Blockchain technology and NFTs.
The product in digital format is a 3D reconstruction of the bottle and can be purchased on the Opensea marketplace through a cryptocurrency wallet. In this way, you can entrust your bottle for aging to the cellar, and collect it at a specific time.
In particular for the Vigne Lomanegra line it is recommended, after the one in the barrel, an aging in bottle. Suitable conditions are needed for perfect conservation, which is why all the reserved bottles will be stored in the vault in the cellar, which guarantees ideal conditions for aging.
Starting from April 8, it will be possible to buy a first part of the collection on the Blockchain Ethereum layer 2, Polygon: 888 NFTs will be mined for bottles with white labels.
But when will these precious bottles be ready for collection? This is also a real gem: Rosarubra will organize an exclusive private event on the estate to be held in the summer of 2024 and will involve all owners of the NFT Vigne Lomanegra, who will be able to take home their prestigious investment.
The project is already available on the site of the Abruzzo Rosarubra winery, while the presentation to the public will be held at their stand at Vinitaly, the largest wine fair in the world, which will be held in Verona from 10 to 13 April.
