In the heart of Abruzzo, between the sea and the mountains, precisely in Pietranico, in the province of Pescara, the Triluna, an extremely refined and persuasive wine is born.
It is the result of a blend of two international and one national vines, precisely, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc and aromatic malvasia, all coming from a rigorous manual selection, a September harvest and certified biodynamic agriculture, in addition to the recognition of biodiversity friend. , which guarantee the utmost respect for the surrounding area.
Purposely, the harvest is extended in order to obtain a slight over-ripening of the grapes, which, dehydrating a little more than they should, accumulate a greater concentration of the residual sugar. By doing so, and thanks also to the impeccable harmony between the vines used and the right proportions with which they were combined, it was possible to make this blend absolutely unique.
The vinification of the Triluna takes place separately for the three vines, in temperature-controlled steel vats, followed by maturation, again in steel, for a period of not less than 10 months. Afterwards, the wine will be bottled in the total absence of oxygen, where a minimum period of refinement of a further 6 months will begin.
Let’s taste it!
Colour: it has beautiful shades, at the sight a wonderful straw yellow of extraordinary brightness, with persuasive golden reflections that crowd the glass, with tears and arches that reveal a very interesting consistence.
Smell: the olfactory tract is intense and full, a pot-pourri of white floral and vegetable fragrances, which alternate with ripe yellow fruit such as peach, apple, citrus, exotic fruit.
Taste: in the mouth it expresses all the elegance and balance of the best, thanks to substance and taste.
It is intense and absolutely in tune with the sense of smell, the fruit is explosive, tasty, pulpy, intoxicating, and also banana, honey, passion fruit, lychee, honey and so on.
It is a well-defined wine in terms of freshness and flavor, which manages to combine perfectly with a softness, an engaging roundness, which makes it extremely balanced.
A compact structure and a long and persistent mineral finish.
A wine for moments of relaxation, while observing the sea, at sunset, but above all with people who know how to appreciate the good times.
Served cold, at 8-10 °, this wine is able to enhance any food you want to accompany it, aperitifs, appetizers, seafood first courses, vegetarian dishes, white meat main courses, fresh and medium-aged cheeses.
Imagine a red snapper with saffron, salmon in citrus sauce, herb omelette with a cherry tomato and chartreuse bun, a roast turkey, semi-seasoned “pecorino canestrato” from Castel del Monte.
