Today we want to focus on one of the most famous Italian regions in the world, from a wine-making point of view, obtaining great satisfaction for the wines produced, we are talking about Piedmont.

A region in the north-west of Italy, whose winemaking traditions date back to Roman times with many historical references of appreciation, so much so that it can easily be considered a pioneer of the best winemaking systems for excellent quality wines. Vines such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Croatina, Grignolino, Malvasia di Casorzo or Schierano or Cortese, Erbaluce and Moscato Bianco, are well distributed in areas such as the foothills between Saluzzo and Turin, the Asti Monferrato, the Roero, the Langhe and Upper Piedmont.
A magnificent region, with a continental climate characterized by a fantastic temperature range, so precious for obtaining the structure and longevity of its wines. It boasts about 50 thousand hectares of vineyards, divided for the most part in the mountains, while the rest is more or less equally divided between hills and plains, with a production of over two and a half million hectoliters.

It is in this region that the “Produttori di Govone” company was founded in 1957, a winery that can now count on about 250 members and over 300 hectares of vineyards located in the best wine-growing areas, namely: Alba, Langhe, Roero, Asti and Monferrato.
Beyond the fortunate geographical position and the remarkable aptitude for winemaking, which has allowed it to be highly appreciated in Italy and abroad, the strength of the company has always been the cohesion between the contributors and their ability to look to the future, focusing on innovation, without neglecting the traditions from which it all began.
Spanning every type, from bubbles to dessert wine, and with a production of about three million bottles a year, the company has distinguished itself for never neglecting even their smallest customer, organizing itself to accommodate all those who would have the pleasure of relaxing and living bucolic experiences, cared for with food and wine of the highest level in an atmosphere of peace and serenity.
