In the province of Teramo, between Colonnella and Controguerra, in an over forty-year-old vineyard with row breeding at 290 meters above sea level and magnificently exposed to the south-south / east, the DOCG of the Turan line of Cantine Torri is born.

A pure wine, 100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes, rigorously selected by hand in a late October harvest of certified organic farming.

The wine ferments in thermo-conditioned steel vats and, once the malolactic fermentation is complete, it is aged in large barrels for no less than 10 months and then refined in the bottle for at least another 6 months.

Let’s taste it.

A bright intense ruby red, almost inscrutable. On the nose you can appreciate the scents of ripe blackberry, berries, vanilla, coffee and cocoa, all well integrated with each other.

The classic drinkability, warm, full of charm, is enjoyed with pleasure. A full, soft flavor that recalls the sense of smell with the addition of intense balsamic notes.

A freshness perfectly aligned to the body and well received by a dynamic tannin, even if attenuated in the corners.

The finish, long and persistent, is characterized by a pleasant and necessary flavor.

An excellent wine, appreciable on any occasion to open a few minutes before tasting it and try to maintain a temperature of 18-20 ° C, but also a little more.

It can be tasted both alone and in company, accompanying it with structured foods, Italian appetizer, “lasagna alla bolognese”, baked lamb, eggplant parmigiana, even fragrant cheeses such as “gorgonzola” or “pecorino”.
