Located in the charming Abruzzo region of central Italy, our vineyards are protected by the mountains of Majella and Gran Sasso, which have always dominated the Adriatic. status.

The Marchese Lucà Dazio winery was taken over by Mirta, the descendant of the founder, and has always believed in the respect of tradition and the model of “integrated and sustainable production”, which minimizes the use of pesticide chemicals and is equipped with modern equipment, reducing the impact on the environment. impact to obtain quality wines.

“Maximo” is a pure wine made from 100% Abruzzo Montepulciano grapes, from 2013, with an alcohol content of 14.5%.

The grape picking is strictly hand-harvested, then brewed in constant temperature steel barrels for a long time, then we will carry out malolactic fermentation, then aged in oak barrels for 36 months, and finally bottled for 12 months.

The wine has a bright deep ruby ​​red color with garnet reflections, a homogeneous texture and a high consistency.

Intense and elegant on the nose, with beautiful notes of ripe blackberries, sour cherries, black cherries, violet flowers and fruit.

On the palate it is warm, dry and balanced, with vibrant, exuberant freshness and fine spice aromas, with silky tannins enveloping a soft body. A compact structure and a long-lasting finish, with spices setting off a delicate roasted aroma, while pink pepper, tobacco and long, delicate almonds add a touch of flavor to the bouquet.

Suitable for drinking in a nice large glass, it is necessary to wait a certain time after opening the bottle, the temperature is between 18°-20° and it is suitable with well-structured food. It can be enjoyed on its own or with appetizers, grilled meats, vegetarian dishes and with medium and long-fermented cheeses.
