MONARCA – Barbera d ‘ALBA DOC Superiore

vino Monarca

Produttori di Govone , founded by the will of a few farms in 1957, works its grapes in the unique territory of the Langhe and Roero. Over the years it has consolidated and now has 250 owners and owners of over 300 hectares of vineyards in the areas of Alba, Langhe, Roero, Asti and Monferrato.

From the date of its birth, the spirit of union between the founders has remained the same and guides the production of internationally recognized high quality wines which represent the perfect union between the clayey limestone character of the Langhe and the unique and unrepeatable aromas given by the sandy and soft soils of the Roero. Like this Barbera, a wonderful expression of a territory that allows the grapes to express their full potential by giving fine and intense aromas.

After maceration for about 10 days and vinification in steel, the wine rests for 12 months in barrels of oak and then presented on the market. It immediately conquers with its beautiful ruby red color with garnet reflections and anticipates aromas that are found in the mouth, exploding into a dry, delicate, slightly tannic taste.
