Richard Liu Qiangdong announced that he will donate 62.4 million to the class B sector during the New Year holidays.
Richard Liu Qiangdong , founder and CEO of Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com , is donating more than $ 2.2 billion to charity, making him the latest Chinese billionaire to donate an unprecedented amount. This donation from Liu responds to President Xin Jinping ‘s call to improve common prosperity due to concern about wealth inequality.
