From a thirty-year-old vineyard, located at an altitude of 290 meters above sea level, splendidly exposed to south, south/east, is where the Pecorino d’Abruzzo from 4 Venti line produced by Torri Cantine grows. In the area of Ancarano and Controguerra in the province of Teramo, grown in an Abruzzo trellis style and with 100% pecorino grapes, the wine is the result of a manual harvest of the first decade of September of organic certified vineyard.

The vinification is done in thermo-conditioned steel vats to then mature 3 months in concrete tanks and then be bottled in the total absence of oxygen.

Do we open it?

Colour: a pale straw yellow, characterized by a particular brightness.

Smell: You are welcomed by an impacting intensity, centered on scents of wildflowers, yellow fruit, a delicate citrus as well as a bursting and persistent herbaceous note.

Taste: it is intense, characterized by an overbearing acidic shoulder, softened by the right balance between delicate softness and warmth, it is welcomed by the hints of yellow pulp peach, apple and pear in a habitat of pungent minerality with an engaging lime finish.

It is a wine to be served cold, about 6-8°, with foods preferably based on fish, like “linguine allo scoglio”, “tagliolini all’astice” but also delicate white meat or even a second course of grilled vegetables.
